Aprimo, a global leader in Enterprise Marketing Management (EMM), today announced it has been positioned in the "Visionaries" quadrant in Gartner's first-ever Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Marketing Management, 2Q06 report. Gartner's report is a reflection of the growing interest and investment in marketing automation as well as a sign of consolidation in the market for marketing applications that deliver a broader set of role-based information, content and functionality from a common platform. Gartner indicates in the report that it sees emerging interest from clients in creating a platform for EMM that supports a variety of marketing roles and functions.
Gartner, a research and advisory firm based in Stamford, Conn., released the EMM 2006 Magic Quadrant, by Kimberly Collins, Ph.D., et al., on June 26, 2006. More than nine vendors were evaluated in the Magic Quadrant report.
